David Hald, Co-founder and CEO
David Hald is a founding member of SMS PASSCODE A/S, where he oversees the overall company strategy and operations as CEO. Prior to founding SMS PASSCODE A/S, he was a co-founder and CEO of Conecto A/S, a leading consulting company within the area of mobile- and security solutions with special emphasis on Citrix, Blackberry and other advanced mobile solutions. In Conecto A/S David has worked with strategic and tactic implementation in many large IT-projects. David has also been CTO in companies funded by Teknologisk Innovation and Vækstfonden. Prior to founding Conecto, he has worked as a software developer and project manager, and has headed up his own software consulting company. David has a technical background from the Computer Science Institute of Copenhagen University (DIKU).
Claus Rosendal, Co-founder and CTO
Claus Rosendal is a founding member of SMS PASSCODE A/S, where he oversees the product strategy and development in the role of Chief Technology Officer. Prior to founding SMS PASSCODE A/S, he was a co-founder of Conecto A/S, a leading consulting company within the area of mobile computing and IT security solutions with special emphasis on Citrix, Blackberry and other advanced handheld devices. Prior to founding Conecto A/S, he headed up his own IT consulting company, where he was responsible for several successful ERP implementations in different companies (C5 / SAP). Claus has been broadly recognized for his technical excellence including winner of the best master thesis in computer science1 (1998), Dansk Selskab for Datalogi (Danish Society of Computer Science), and winner of the best master thesis in Operations Research2 (1998/1999), Dansk Selskab for Operationsanalyse (Danish Operations Research Society). Results of the master thesis were also published later in an article3. In 1992 Claus represented Denmark by the Nordic Championships of Mathematics. Claus holds a Master Degree in computer science from University of Copenhagen.

Jakob Østergaard, Co-founder & Director of R&D
Jakob Østergaard is a founding member of SMS PASSCODE A/S, where he oversees the organization for the many successful deployments of SMS PASSCODE A/S with leading corporations in the role of Head of Consulting and Implementations. His many years of hands-on experience give an advantage in R&D and the idea to the first SMS PASSCODE® version. Prior to founding SMS PASSCODE A/S, he was a co-founder and Technical manager of Conecto A/S, a leading consulting company within the area of mobile- and security solutions with special emphasis on Citrix, Blackberry and other advanced mobile solutions. He has i.e. developed optimizations for Citrix to make it possible to work everywhere even over the worst mobile connections. Prior to founding Conecto A/S, he headed up his own software consulting company. Jakob has a technical background from the Computer Science Institute of Copenhagen University (DIKU).
Steen Søndergaard, Vice President, World Wide Sales
Steen Søndergaard has more than 20 years of experience in international sales and heads up SMS PASSCODE’s domestic and international expansion with special emphasis on establishing channel partners. Steens experience includes VP of Sales positions at ShareCon, a video conference equipment maker, World Ticketing, a global travel industry solutions provider, and Head of international Sales for Danware Software A/S, a global leading provider in packaged software for systems management and remote control. Prior to this, Steen Sondergaard held senior executive positions in several high technology companies including CEO of Mark Information Systems A/S and CEO and Founder of D-House, an early leader in collaboration management software.
Lars Barthold Nielsen, Vice President, Commercial Operations
Lars B. Nielsen has over 25 years of experience in building and managing teams in high-technology companies and oversees marketing, alliances and business development responsibilities. Lars have had broad global management responsibility in positions as Vice President, Marketing at PremiTech and Kapow Technologies overseeing global marketing activities; Vice President/ Senior Vice President Marketing for Citrix Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS), where he managed the marketing aspects of the Citrix Access Infrastructure strategy. Prior to Citrix, he held management positions at Informatica Corp. (NASDAQ: INFA) Compaq Computer Corp. in the US and in Europe and is a co-founder of Scanpower Rotrex, a joint venture with The A.P. Moeller Group, where he is co-named on a high-speed gear drive patent. Lars holds an MBA in International Business from University of San Francisco and Bachelor Degrees in Marketing from Niels Brocks School of Business and in Strategy from Copenhagen Business School.
