ComON names SMS PASSCODE® winner of the Tech Gold 2010 competition

A panel of some of the most successful IT and telecommunications entrepreneurs and industry luminaries have named SMS PASSCODE the winner of the inaugural Tech Gold 2010 Award that recognizes the most promising IT entrepreneur.

Copenhagen,  December 21st, 2010 – SMS PASSCODE®, the technology leader in two-factor authentication, today announced that ComON, a leading Danish internet-magazine, recognized SMS PASSCODE as the most promising IT entrepreneur company in 2010 with the Tech Gold 2010 award. 

A panel of luminaries reviewed a total of 20 high tech firms and selected the winner based on the product uniqueness as well as the ability to bring this new technology to market the most successful.  

The panel consisted of Frank Rasmussen, telecommunications entrepreneur and CEO of MVNO Systems, Henrik Poulsen, Jesper Brøckner, and Keld Jersild Olsen, top-executives in TDC, Telia and HP, Preben Mejer, it-icon and Senior VP at  Innovation Lab, the seasoned it-entrepreneurs and investors Preben Damgaard and Peter Warnøe, Christian Peytz, chairman of the Organization for Interactive Media, Nikolaj Nyholm, internet-entrepreneur and partner in Vækstfondens venturefirm Sunstone Capital, and managing director for Microsoft Denmark Jørgen Bardenfleth, who also is chairs the research park Symbion.
