SMS PASSCODE® 3.1 supports Microsoft Outlook Web Access 2010 clients as well as latest Citrix Web Interface and iPhone Receiver

New SMS PASSCODE® release 3.1 provides a set of new capabilities including supporting Windows Outlook Web Access 2010, Remote Desktop Services (former Terminal Services) and Windows Server 2008 R2, as well as UPN and modem monitoring capabilities.

 

The new release contains the following features:

 

Outlook Web Access 2010

SMS PASSCODE® version 3.1 implements strong two-factor protection via SMS for the new Outlook Web Access (OWA) 2010 version just released. The integration is tightly integrated into the Outlook Web Access site and thus gives a very secure yet transparent and easy-to-understand user experience that increases user productivity and removes helpdesk burdens.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

New Citrix iPhone Receiver support
SMS PASSCODE 3.1 includes the results of a joint development effort between Citrix and SMS PASSCODE engineering teams to implement support for the Citrix SMS Authentication functionality just released in the new Citrix iPhone Receiver 2.0 client.

 

The iPhone has a unique set of challenges as it run only run one application at any given time. Thus, the implementation with the Citrix iPhone Receiver includes joint development for integration between Citrix iPhone Receiver and the iPhone SMS application to receive the SMS PASSCODE.

Extended Citrix Web Interface Support
The release also stays current with the latest Citrix Web Interface 5.2.x versions.

 

Windows Server 2008 Remote Desktop Services and R2

SMS PASSCODE®version 3.1 introduces support for the widely requested secure web access to Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (formerly Terminal Services) on Windows Server 2008 R2.Additionally, all relevant SMS PASSCODE® components have been upgraded tosupport the latest Windows Server 2008R2.

 

UPN support
3.1 also now supports using UPN (User Principal Names) during login.

 

 

Extended modem monitoring

The new release introduces an easy to understand monitoring of critical modem operational data such as current modem state and signal strength, as well as transmission statistics.

 

.NET 3.5 framework

 

Finally, version 3.1 moves to .NET framework 3.5 to stay current on the latest platforms protecting customer investments.
